Ecinq is an emergency contraceptive pill designed to help prevent pregnancy after unprotected sex or contraceptive failure (such as a missed pill or condom break). It contains Ulipristal Acetate 30G , a hormone that works by delaying or preventing ovulation.Ecinq is most effective when taken as soon as possible after intercourse, ideally within 24 hours, but it can be used up to 120 hours (5 days) after unprotected intercourse.
